Dust mops are an essential tool for keeping your floors clean. They remove dust from hard-to-reach corners and help you avoid the unwanted mess created by traditional brooms or vacuum cleaners. Dust mops are a great alternative because they are easy to use, don’t require any extra storage space, and leave no mess behind. Plus, they’re super economical! With the right care and maintenance, your dust mop will last you for years to come. Even if you have just purchased a new one, it’s still useful to know how to care for your dust mop so that it lasts longer and stays in good condition.

What To Look For When Buying A Dust Mop

There are a few things to keep in mind when shopping for a dust mop. First of all, you should make sure it’s the right size for you. This means you should pick a dust mop that is the right width for your cleaning purposes. We recommend our 12'' - 30'' for home use and 36'' - 60'' for commercial use. You also need to check whether or not your dust mop is washable. This will make your job a lot easier when it comes time to clean your dust mop. Plus, if your dust mop is machine washable, you can clean it more regularly, which will help it last longer and avoid having to constantly purchase refills. Luckily, all Tidy Tools Dust Mops are washable.

How To Choose A Mop Head

We've hand crafted two dust mop heads with slight differences. Our cotton mops are sewn with 100% cotton and are hand washable. This makes a great option for anyone looking for a classic dust mop that's economical and durable. Our nylon mops are sewn with a blend of 90% nylon and 10% cotton which provides a more durable material that is machine washable. Unlike other abrasive nylon dust mops, our nylon blend is super soft and safe on all surfaces.
